Salon 15  Joo Young Lee  'Please wrap me Up'  July 6, 2001  'Please wrap me Up' involves an exquisitely choreographed dance, as the  artist is gradually encased in a cacoon of yarn. Four collaborators encircle and  restrict her with a variety of coloured yarns as she slowly rotates in the  opposite direction. She becomes a silent and bound figure both protected and  confined. Yoo Young Lee is a young Korean artist who studied MA Visual Art  at Goldsmiths, graduating in 2000. She has shown her work in London  including; London Biennale 2000, Three nights of Contemporary Art, 291  Gallery, London, Waves at Goldsmiths, Alexandra Palace, London 2000, Hoax  at Lux Gallery, London 2000 and Video installation at Musical Vision,  Tottenham Court Road, London 2001.
