 Kyoko Swanobori
 'Honey, Beauty and Tasty'
 Visiting artist from Japan; part of the Japan 2001
 Festival & Camberwell Arts Week.

 home was pleased to present the UK premier for the
 young Japanese artist Kyoko Swanobori. Her piece
 'Honey, Beauty, Tasty' is a provocative live
 performance which involves the manipulation of
 records on a DJ deck with her tongue and copious
 amounts of honey. This piece which has been
 performed in Japan has received widespread acclaim.
 Kyoko also appeared on 27 June at 8pm at the
 Barbican Centre as part of the JAM programme for
 the Japan 2001 Festival. Kyoko Swanobori was born
 in 1973, She received a BA (Hons) from the National
 University of Fine Arts and Music and a MFA in
 Painting from the Tokyo National University of Fine
 Arts and Music. She has performed widely in Japan
 including; 'Honey, Beauty and Tasty' at
 Contemporary Art and Spirits in Osaka, 'Spring in
 Desert' at Gallery Rasen, Kunitachi and 'Apple' at
 Warehouse for Art at Nagoya Port, Nagoya.
 Internationally 'Puddles' organised by Mex,
 Dortmund, Germany touring to El Huis, Belgium &
 Duende, Rotterdam.
